ABOUT ME! METAL WISE THAT IS!

first i want to say hi to everybody here at brutal death metal and thank you very much for making this site possible! death metal in my opinion is the single most underappreciated genre of all metal genres,and it is absolutely kickass to see it being kept alive and well with sites like this one!
I am 47 years old and have been a diehard metalhead for over 35 of those 47 years!
my 3 alltime favorite metal genres are!
1.oldschool british heavy metal
2.thrash
3.death metal
and in that order!
it might seem somewhat unusual to some that someone my age would like death metal even a little bit but for me it was a natural progression.
i started off being raised as a child in the mid 60's on the rock and roll of the time and as i got older my taste in hard rock and heavy metal got harder!
i have always tried to be as open minded as i can towards all metal,and i do love all kinds of metal,but when i am in the mood for much faster,harder,and more brutal sound as a good change of pace,to me the ultimate in that change of pace is brutal ass death metal!
i also like some black metal but not near as much as death metal!
i must say that it is sometimes very hard to stay strong amidst the constant criticism i often endure from my fellow oldschool headbanging brethern,but i intend to keep the metal faith the way i personally see fit no matter what anybody else thinks about it!
